Bông Makeup ("we") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Bông Makeup app (iOS and Android).
1. Information we collect
When you use the app, we may collect:
- Account information — your name and email address when you sign in through Google or Apple.
- Contact details — the phone number and contact email you set in your profile.
- User content — photos of makeup results that you upload.
- Business data — appointments, client details, and quality reviews that you enter.
- Device data — a push token for sending notifications, and your device time zone.
2. How we use the information
We use what we collect to:
- Provide and run the app's features (appointments, reviews, reporting).
- Send push notifications reminding you of appointments and important updates.
- Send appointment confirmation and reminder emails to the salon's clients.
- Improve the experience and performance of the app.
We do not sell your information to third parties.
3. Sharing information
We share information only with the third-party providers needed to run the app:
- Hosting and user authentication.
- Sending notification emails.
- Sending push notifications.
- Sign-in platforms (Google / Apple).
These providers may use the information only to perform their service for us, and for no other purpose.
Each salon is a separate data space: one salon cannot reach another salon's data. Within a salon, what you can see depends on your role (owner or artist).
4. Data storage
Data is stored on secure cloud servers. We apply appropriate security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and role-based access control.
When you delete your account, your personal information is removed; some of the salon's business records are kept in anonymized form. Details are on the delete account page.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- View and edit your personal information in the app's Profile section.
- Delete your account yourself, inside the app.
- Turn off push notifications in your device settings or in the app.
6. Push notifications
The app sends push notifications to remind you of appointments and status changes. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings or in the app's Notifications section.
7. Children's data
The Bông Makeup app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy over time. When something important changes, we will notify you by email or in the app. The last updated date is always shown at the top of this page.
